As my new favorite passion is finding and trying new candies, my uncle's family brought me back some Argentine chocolate from Buenos Aires. They are from the Milena factory, at milenachocolates.com.ar I've tried a little of the 80%, but want to give it a complete review. I will guess at what kind of chocolate they are, because I cannot translate the Spanish:

80% cacao: Instant chocolate flavor, powdery texture. Somewhat chalky aftertaste, though very cacao worthy. Definitely dark, with a bitter, non-sweet flavor. Very easy to break, fine chocolate.
Overall: A 6, definitely good for extreme dark chocolate lovers, but not sweet enough for me.
Milk chocolate with pecans: Very smooth texture, teeth easily sink into it. Pecans nice and crunchy. A smoked aftertaste. Sweet chocolate with still a slightly bitter bit. Does not taste old, though was made in November. Overall: A 7, I really like the just enough sweetness and nutty texture.
Mystery chocolate, though looks like Milk C: Surprise its dark chocolate filled with I'm guessing dulce de leche. It's very good, though I'm afraid it does taste a little old. I should not have taken to long to ea

t it! The chocolate is very easily broken, with a sweet-bitter taste, and the dulce de leche tastes very similar to caramel, yet smoother and less sticky. The aftertaste isn't of chocolate, but really nothing at all. A sense of powdered cocoa perhaps...
Overall: A 5, though the surprise of filling was fun, the overall taste did not compare.
I think I'll leave my chocolate christmas tree until later....
My favorite part? Fine chocolate with a cute little blue dustbag to carry it in.
