*I just found this old entry that I forgot to post back in December. Our company sponsored a family for Christmas, and these were my observations:
Felicia just left after we showed her what we bought and helped her pack up her car. Everything fit and everyone was involved in helping carry, smiles on our faces. She was so appreciative, hugging everyone multiple times, and she teared up when she saw everything that we had done. She especially loved the stockings and squealed with delight, and she remarked smiling that she was going to have to share her kitchen now when she saw the ultimate toy kitchen for her daughter. I know it meant so much to her, her friend that came with her, and I just wanted to pass on her appreciation, as both of you had an integral part in helping our TBG group with her Christmas. I was touched by everyone's generosity at my company, and as we all rode up the elevator, quieted as we realized we were blessed by being a blessing, I thought to myself, "we brought a little heaven to earth today". We were all definitely a part of a blessing and another story of bringing true JOY to earth.
