- Played hide and go seek for the first time in years
- Sang Jingle Bells in April
- Played the "Word Tag" game and ended up with a story about Purple-maned horses and gummi bear seaweed
- Recalled some Spanish to have a conversation with a homeless man in the park
- Remembered what it was like to be new and was the recipient of a kind person taking time to be there, then was able to be there for another new person this morning
- Discovered the foil on Hershey Kisses is actually aluminum foil and can be recycled (!)
- Learned that Mt. Moriah where Issac carried the wood for his sacrifice and Abraham was asked to sacrifice his son (but then not) was the same place that Jesus carried the cross for his sacrifice and where he was sacrificed by his father as the son, the place Jerusalem was built, the place called "God will provide"....and oh He did!
- Was singing and dancing in my car, and it seems, as always...a carful of men drove past giving me thumbs up and waving
- Tried a key lime cupcake at Crave...and will never eat a different flavor there again
- Was assisted by a homeless man who offered to carry a heavy box for me, while serving at the park and experienced the joy and simplicity of a smile
- Learned that a violin bow is made of horse hair, tried to play the instrument for the first time, and discovered I will never be the next Allison Krauss
- Was reminded how much I love the sincerity of singer/songwriter music and am listening to Andrew Osenga right now...so important to support them!
- Realized how much I love to write and how little I do of it. Maybe tomorrow?
