A year ago today I was graduating from college. A year ago today I had no idea I would be sitting in this spot. I can't believe it's already been a year. One year from the day of conclusion. The day of sitting in a 3 hour ceremony eating gummi worms and passing them down the row, saying goodbyes, and writing thank yous. 5 years flashed through my memory as I sat there in Reed. Now, a year of memories flashes like a slideshow: moving out of my townhouse, last time in my favorite parks, apartment shopping, car stress and buying, moving into my apartment all 3 stories up, the smell of the new paint and the excitement of starting new, the summer at pool parties, meeting new people, blind dates, movies, ACL, visiting friends, football games, reunions, networking functions, best sushi and 007, flag football, softball after 10 years away, kickball and the smell of the baseball field, running at Memorial for the first time, discovering Gelato Blu, visiting Discovery Green for the 7th time, Casino Nights, Rain and lots of rain, floods, new coffee shops and a guy telling me he wants to die before he is 40, finding Caffarel chocolate once again, attempts to skydive, conclusions, drama, resolutions, and friends. Love. Life. Laughter.
It's been a good year.
