I just had the most random day. Work was of course pretty much run of the mill, but this evening was far from ordinary. I spent 2 hours shopping for the beverage that most describes me, choosing Ayala's Herbal Water. The final decision will be made after I've tried it, but the lemongrass vanilla mint really intrigued me! While wandering aisle to aisle in the grocery store, I passed a woman on the beer and chips aisle who decided to taste test a Michelob, then hide it back behind the others. She glanced around afterward, and I was trying hard not to laugh. Seriously? Did she really just do that in a grocery store? That is weird and wrong on so many levels.
Then I'm driving, and I pass a woman sitting at the Metro stop who whips out a hand-held face mirror to check herself out, not a compact, but full-size. Random...
Then I get home and start making some chocolate chip cookies I promised a friend, and wouldn't you know, I ran out of sugar. How much sugar? Exactly a cup. I couldn't pass up the cliche moment and asked my "neighbor" Greg (who lives around the corner) for a cup. I laughed to myself as I drove off. Really? Exactly a cup? Yes. His neighborly duty is now fulfilled.
