Happy Easter! Easter is my favorite holiday; I love it for the mixture of spring, color, brighter days, new life, and the celebration of Jesus dying for us, rising from the dead, and fulfilling God's plan to enable us to be able to choose His love, His life, to accept what began at the very beginning with Adam and Eve, to take our place in His family.
The egg dying, the easter egg hunts, the Easter Bunny, the rabbits, the big meal with family, the day of relaxing...I love it all.
We left church this morning singing one of my favorite hymns...it is so old, yet so true:
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives, all fear is gone.
Because I know, He holds the future,
and life is worth the living, just because He lives!
