A Day of Randomness

Today was supposed to be the pinnacle of exciting:  a day of skidiving, something I've had planned for a while now.  However, sadly the wind was too much to be safe, so instead I decided I'd trade that thrill for this randomness:

  • Skeeball at Chuckie Cheese (Where a kid can be a kid...and old people can be...old?)
  • Flying kites at the park...$1 Batman and Transformer style no less
  • Basking in the sun and bluebonnets
  • Driving around this crazy city on all kinds of construction detours
  • Ending the night being serenaded by my next door neighbors' live house concert of Spanish acoustic music that is going to put me right to sleep.  Something about not understanding the words and the strum of the strings is surprisingly soothing...
So, the craziness of flying will have to wait.  But I will never stop indulging every whim!
