As graduation and college's end looms bigger and bigger in my future, I begin to see things in a different light. "Am I really this old?" I ask myself. "What is this real world and how is it going to change me? How do I want to change it? If my purpose in life is to live my life for the glory of God and constantly be shaped and living not of myself, how does that look in a 9 to 5 job? Is this really where my passion lies? And more than that, How do you continue to live passionately without the same resources/friends/niches as in college?"
I'm sure it's entirely possible. Especially since people lead meaningful lives every day. It's not as if a life is ever meaningless. But a life lived without realizing its meaning or passing on its purpose, to me is no life at all.
I want to never lose the desire to explore, to adventure out, and to always question and not fall into a routine or "the norm"...because where would life be without exploring all of its possibilities?
I love a quote I found on a greeting card this past week, "The trick to life is living without getting any older." A childlike faith, a childlike craving for adventure...that is what I will forever seek. Years may go by, but you're only as old as you feel. Sense of wonder and pursuing life is always in need.
And so with that...who wants to go skiidiving after graduation? :)
