Tonight I had planned on going dancing at the local salsa Friday night place. It wasn't my idea originally, but I helped coordinate the group since I love it so much. Sadly though, my half of the group all decided not to go. I was disappointed, but did end up stopping by HEB for cash (where I was when I decided not to go after all). So instead I strutted the aisles dolled up and in my heels, enjoying getting to shop without a rush. I ended up with some really cool items: 2 new candies to try (I had to limit myself...next time I will buy that Turkish delight): New Skittles "Chocolate Mix" click here to read my review, some new Trolli spiders (that I decided I had to try because of the brand but I'm not all that excited about them...I mean, come on, they ditch gummi eggs for these?), and then lastly my favorite Key lime cookies that only HEB has.
I also bumped into an international student that is in one of my classes, and we had the best conversation. I found out her name was Michelle, she was from China, and she seemed glad to have someone to converse with. She seemed surprised that someone was talking to her. I hope to get to know her better; she seems very sweet.
